DIRECTIONS TO BANTRY HOUSE FROM CORK CITY: The quickest route: (70 - 80 minutes drive)...
On leaving Cork, please look for the sign for West Cork (N71). This will take you out past the Wilton Roundabout (or Kinsale Roundabout), and the Bandon Road Roundabout. The N71 will take you into the village of INISHANNON. The next town is BANDON, when you reach the bridge, take a right turn for Bantry, this is well signposted. After about 15 minutes, BALLINEEN-ENNISKEANE, is the next town. DUNMANWAY follows next, be sure to turn left when you reach the top of the square and follow the signs to Bantry. The last village is Drimoleague, and a further 20 minutes drive will bring you into BANTRY. As soon as you see Bantry Bay, Bantry House Estate is on the right hand side of the road (opposite the ocean). Do not take the first entrance which has black wrought iron gates, this is the Coachpark. Instead proceed a further 2 kilometres along the road, you will come to a white newly built hotel, the Maritime, the entrance to Bantry House is shortly after the hotel. It is set in a few metres from the road, there is a dark blue sign, turn in here and drive through the archway under the stone Gatelodge, and the drive will bring you up to the Main House.
